About The Instructor
Therese Engelhardt is a devout Catholic who deeply loves her Faith, her family and music.
She began playing the piano at the age of 7.
Therese has been teaching piano for more than thirty years.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education at St. Vincent College in 1995, graduating Magna cum Laude
Therese furthered her music study when she attended the Taubmann Institute of Piano learning injury-preventative piano technique
She was a student of Sheila Paige and Jacqueline Herbein.
Therese recently earned her Master of Arts degree in Dogmatic Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary, graduating Cum Laude in 2021.
Therese has worked with students of all ages; those who are typical learners and those with special-needs.
To serve students better, she is adding the Music Moves for Piano curriculum to her teaching repertory.
Therese has been married to her husband Kurt Engelhardt for 25 years and they have three children.
The Engelhardt household is home to two black cats, Violet and Ollie.
